After 10 years in London, Gianluca returned to Italy in 2021 to co-found The Techshop SGR, a Milan-based VC funds platform. The first fund launched is a €53M Seed specialized in SaaS companies and focused on Italy. Notable investments include Shop Circle, Smartpricing, Hlpy, Qomodo, Tot, AxyonAI. Prior to launching The Techshop, Gianluca has amassed 25ys of international experience in the Tech space, first as a Manager in the Telco space, then as Founder and since 2015 as Investor. Founder in 2007 and CEO till 2015 of Neomobile, a Rome-based company which became a global leader in Mobile Entertainment (€1B revenue generated in <10ys). Awarded as best European digital entrepreneur in 2011, he’s today an active investor, advisor and mentor to startups, with a focus on eCommerce and SaaS. Gianluca holds a MSc Engineering – Computer Science at La Sapienza University in Rome.
